Best Starting Char .

Good day !

Since im still Downloading D2 (on a very very very slow rate !) , Id like to ask your opinions on what is the best Starting Character for lets say , a player with a "decent" knowledge on D2 . Lets say he knows how to finish quests and the different classes but dont know how to manage stats and gears .

For me a HammerDin and a Frenzy Barb would do ( They have nice tanking capabilites and can do nice damage to mobs and bosses ) .

For gears Sigons set might ( im not really sure) help them through Normal .

Your opinions please ?

And to add , anything that would give you lifesteal will help

In my opinion, you may disagree or agree with this but it will be Necromancer and Sorc.
The Strategy is simple, even without a decent equipment this two char can beat Nightmare at ease.
Summon Type for Necro will do the trick along with decrify and amplify curses and Corpse Explosion.
As for Sorc, Her teleport is the best asset of her, and as for bosses static field will do the job.

Hmm , i tried getting a summonNecro once but in Normal Act4 Diablo's ring of fire wiped them all out .
And yeah I agree Sorc is also a good choice since reducing the bosses HP really help .

Just use decrify on diablo to slow him down
